Touratech TFT anti-theft, aluminium for BMW R1250GS/ R1250GS Adventure/ R1200GS (LC) (2017-)/ R1200GS Adventure (LC) (2017-)

The TFT display of your GS is more than just a display instrument. It is the central communication unit in the interaction between man and machine. With its extensive functionalities, it is unfortunately also a very expensive component.

Did you know that your TFT display is only secured with three rather weakly dimensioned retaining rings? One strong pull on the housing and the entire TFT unit is gone.

With the TFT theft protection, this quick but expensive "theft" is impossible!

The version with "sun visor" also has a 45mm anti-glare screen.

The simultaneous use of Touratech or BMW navigation device holders is not restricted.

Safe and lightweight:
037-5177: 2mm black anodised aluminium
037-5178: 2mm black anodised aluminium, with sun visor

Safe and solid:
037-5175: 2mm stainless steel black powder-coated
037-5176: 2mm stainless steel black powder-coated, with sun visor

One star was taken away due to the poor instruction sheet that came with the bracket. I had to download instructions from Touratech's main site. The bracket is well made and fits well. Took me approx 15mins to fit with taken off some of the bike's plastic and i only had to use the supplied new bolts. Washers supplied were not used. All in all, I'm very pleased with the bracked and whoever tries to steel the TFT screen, this will slow them down or make them tink again. Good price from Adventure Bike Shop.
